WHAT AREA DO YOU COVER?

I’m a wedding photographer based in Biggar on the very edge of South Lanarkshire. This positions me well to cover Central Scotland and the Northwest of England. I do travel further a field though so get in touch to chat about your big day. 

And of course, The dream is to shoot a destination wedding too!

 

HOW DO I BOOK?

Like most photographers I get booked up very far in advanced, so please get in touch as soon as possible via my contact page to check my availability.
If I’m available, we’ll arrange a time to chat properly before you make a decision about whether to proceed with a booking.

 

IS THERE A BOOKING FEE?

The booking fee for any wedding package is £100 which is required to reserve your date. This is non-refundable.

Full payment is required 30 days before the wedding.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?

Good wedding photographers get booked up well in advance, especially for weekend weddings from May to September so the sooner the better.

SHOULD WE BOOK AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?

Yes!
Most people feel apprehensive about getting their photos taken. An engagement shoot gives us a great chance to get to know each other and gives you the chance to start feeling relaxed with me and in front of my camera. And the best thing is, all my packages include one.

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS?

Gallery delivery can take up to 6 weeks, but I often deliver well within that time. You’ll receive a preview of photographs in the week after your wedding before I create an online gallery with your final collection of images. Whilst I hate keeping people waiting, I truly believe that quality is more important than speed.

Shooting any wedding is only 10% of the work. The other 90% is in post-production. This includes culling all those images with half eyes shut or unflattering expressions, followed by a careful edit of each individual image. If you can convince everyone to blink in unison, the delivery time might be less 😊

 

ARE YOU INSURED?

Absolutely. I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. If your venue wants proof of suppliers insurance, do just let me know and I can provide a certificate. 

 

DO YOU OFFER VIDEO?

At the moment I do not have a videography service but I have a whole host of great colleagues that I can recommend to you. This way you get to choose the exact style of videographer you want rather than just the style available in a bundle deal, giving you more freedom of choice.
